The genre-bending singer talks about producing her own music, having her mother see her perform for the first time, writing a toxic relationship, growing up Muslim and being honest behind the mic. She opens up about a time in her life where she experienced depression, how she “snapped” out of it, & the importance of sharing her story in its truest form.
